Our first motor trip of the year. Maine / myLot

Hello everyone back from our motor trip to Maine. I felt pretty good and need to get out of the house. We visit our favorite antique shop.Then over to a mini mall as my favorite Italian bakery was open "The Rossi Bakery"I wrote about this while back. Oh!the cookies are so sublime.We bought biscotti,coconut macaroon, Being April most places are opening and freezing. Yes it was very cold there.But this will turn around soon. I could have bought more.But only two of us here and plenty for us what we got. Anyone here like Italian cookies as much as we do.

So happy you were out and about in Maine. Brrrr, for now. I'm not Italian, but do love Italian food as does my husband. And we both love Italian cookies. We're lucky to have many great Italian bakeries in the city next to us. Enjoy!

@amadeo Those winds should have ended in March! Darn them! Thank you! We love living in the suburbs close to a big city, yet far enough away.

I'm glad that you got out and the bakery that you enjoy was open. I haven't been exposed to much Italian baking, so I don't know if I'd like those cookies or not, but you know that I'd never turn one down if offered.....

@amadeo I've had biscotti, some good and some not so good, but I don't think that I've had any other kind of Italian cookies.

The Rossi Bakery!

I think I've missed the posts about this in the past... are they related to you at all? The antique shops in New England are so much better than what we have here. I miss them.

I drove through Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and New York State a few weeks ago. Next week I will be making the return trip to New Brunswick, taking the Canadian route through Ontario and Quebec.
