If a baby were left on your porch would you try to adopt this baby, would you visit it just to make sure it is ok? would you keep up with this child as it grew up? I would keep up with this child just to see how it turned out

Babies are a gift from God - Babies are a gift from God
I would report it to the authorities. As much as I would love to keep the babu, I don't know that I would run around after a baby anymore - not fulltime! It takes a lot of energy. LOL. But I would definitely want to keep in touch with the child and see him/her as often as possible. I would make sure the baby ended up with good people.

If a baby was left on my porch i would presume i was picked for a reason? as you'd never come all that way into this estate otherwise( i'm one of the last houses), So yes I would foster then try to adopt.

If a baby were left on my porch, I would definately try to adopt the child. I would love it as if it were my own birth child. I would raise the child and give the child everything in love and nurturance as if I had birthed the child myself.

I would probably try to keep it but if I couldn't I would most definitely keep up with the child.

If a baby was left on my porch I would contact the proper authorities and take it from there...I would definately foster the child if needed if at all possible thats for certain and i would (if we didnt adopt) most definately want to keep up with how he or she was doing as they grew up etc and if at all possible I'd like to be a part of their life...

if i can financially afford to raise another baby, then i would definitely adopt the baby. that is after going thru the legal process of adoption. coz, if am going to keep the baby i would want everything legal and right. it would also give me protection in the future, in case his natural parents changed their minds.

That's a tough question. I have seven children. So it is obvious that I love children. But I have enough mouths to feed already. So, I would probably see if I could be the foster parent until the child could be adopted. One, the foster care would issue a check each month to help with the cost of the child. And two, at least then I would know the child that was left on my porch for a reason, was given love while in the system and I would meet the new parents that adopted the child. If so happen, the child was not adopted...then I would be there for the child all the way and would know how the child turned out and was loved. That is probably my ideal solution. But I would also have to have the complete agreement of my partner! But I am sure that he would probably feel the same way. After all, we had the seven children together. LOL

It sounds very 'Harry Potter'. I think I'll report to the police first.. you can't 'anyhow' adopt a person just because he's at your porch.

Oh I am 62 years old but if at all possible financially for adoption you bet. I have 1 daughter who is almost 43 and has 5 children and she has a grandson. The really great thing is they live acrooss the street and 3 houses down from me. The child I am sleeping in the chair with is my great grandson. He is not quite 2 months now.
