A Mermaid's Tale on TV

There's something fishy on TV lately in the form of a new drama series called SIREN. Yep it's a show about Mermaids. But this series is not about your regular romantic mermaid like Ariel in Disney's "Little Mermaid". These ladies are scary predators that scratch and attack in the water!
I happened to catch the pilot last week and I must admit it's a different tale (forgive my pun) than the usual cop or rescue show that's on right now. I like the small town feel and especially the small SEASIDE town feel it portrays.
I will watch it this week but am not sure how long I will be interested. It could get silly like a lot of these shows do. But for now it certainly is fun and definitely different. Catch it if you like lots of shots of the Sea and the fantastic idea of mermaids (and maybe even mer-people)! Who knows? Besides, it makes you feel like going for a swim--lol!

@just4him Well now I'm stuck- because I just found out that it didn't come back this week to my regular channel?? Now what? It's on a channel I can't get. Oh well- I'll wait and see.

Love those New England style old towns and the romantic idea of Mermaids- lots of fun! Hope you find it!

Yes- i saw old movies with the wail of the mermaids! And these ones are vicious too--- sharp teeth and claws in the water- It will be a semi-horror show.

It was on Showcase when I first viewed it and now it moved to Spark TV. I don't get Spark, I will have to wait maybe- till it swims to another channel---lol!

Oh, has it started already? I've seen the commercials for it, but didn't know when it was starting. I'm guessing it will only last until June or so.
