my mom just got out of the hospital,and in the interim,one of her bills got behind.. and of course they sent a threat.. so i called them up,had her account number,and asked for the balance so it could be paid. "oh,we can't give that out,we'd have to talk to her" she's on morphine.she's been in the hospital.you really don't want that.that's why i'm calling for her. "we can give no information out.." LOOK.i realize you have rules.i'm not asking YOU for money,i'm asking you if you WANT your money now. "we can't do that..but we can send papers so she can authorize you" fine,whatever.now you're gonna wait too. "oh,but you can pay it right now with a credit card" suddenly,i felt like i was in monty python's cheese shop skit.. do you in fact,have any cheese at all?uh...nope. i went through this same crap when my dad was terminal.hey lady,sooner or later,i'm the one you got to deal with anyway.. i think next time i will hand to phone to her..and they can have fun trying to figure out what she's saying.
