What makes their life so interesting?

You know every day I see all of these reality tv shows where everyone is talking about their life and how much it really gets them up or down. I can say that I have watched some of these shows and tend to be like why are they even on here when their life is not that great? I have watched people on shows that have nothing to do with the show but their mom or dad was successful. I mean I just want to ask " How does it feel to be nothing?" I mean that is what some of them are just nothing trying to make a name but in the wrong way possible. I am not here to pass judgment but if you know that you have not done anything with your life but you tend to stay in the spotlight because of your parents then that is on you, but seriously don't talk about how you are this and that when you're not. Do any of you feel the same when it comes to these shows? Like what makes their life so interesting that they get to be on tv taking up an hour and some change of everyone's time to make themselves relevant. I know the saying " If you don't like it then don't watch it". I must say that they are really hard to miss these days because there are so many of them. Some you can learn from no doubt but others you are just sitting there with a blank face like "huh?" Lol. I just thought of this and wanted to share and see what everyone else thought as well.

I do not find anything interesting in those shows because if they do I would have tv at my house.

I missed the days where you only watch talented people on tv..now you can see a lot of stupid people, wannabees etc..given so much time by tv producers...why these things happened? because of social media and smartphones....I also wonder people using smartphones are not getting smart enough, it's going on the opposite direction? have you noticed this condition?

Yes, because I have seen grammar and spelling just go out the window. I think it more about ratings too because people with no life or nothing better to do watch this stuff and it stays on the air while good educational shows get cancelled.

I dont watch reality shows. I have to live my own reality and that can be dramatic enough.

Yes, true. I just can't do it myself like what is the point? Sucks being a stay at home mom at times but at least I have writing to keep busy.

@Starmaiden yeah if I'm not writing articles for clients I am cleaning house or playing with my dog. My kids are in school most of the day and then it's all about them when they come home.

I don't watch "reality" shows. They are contrived and scripted and, as Super Singh says, a long way from reality.
