Yay! Wednesday

I really don`t know why I am happy that its Wednesday, this week is slow with the "make a living" work and more about the home and the gardening. If you remember on Monday I was torn on what to do, because I have so much that needs to be done, work inside or outside. I chose inside since Tony took off for the day. Well I got around to the backyard yesterday. First thing I did was take the dogs and chain them out front. I could work faster not worrying about falling over them. I asked Tony for some help, I had a small pile of brush that needed to be moved down to the edge of the property and I needed his truck, we started loading the small dead limbs and Tony said " I don`t know why we don`t just burn it." I replied " I think its to close to the house." After 1/4 of it loaded, I said " do you think you can keep it under control if we burn it?" Tony said " Yes and it`ll be easier." So I allowed him to burn it. He started off with a small pile and he just sat in the chair and fed the fire till it was burned up, with the water hose by his side, on and ready. I mowed the entire area with the push mower. It had grown up, some places knee high. I also took note of how much poison oak/ivy I needed to kill. We worked about three hours, Tony came inside but I still have a couple dogs wanting to take a walk. I walked them for about 20 minutes, gave them attention they wanted and took them back to their area. Roscoe was mad he went straight to the dog house, he actually likes the front yard better, chain or not. Harley was funny, he stopped just inside the gate and looked around. Usually he will wait by me for me to take the leash off but when I dropped it to close the gate he took it with him as he walked over to the black pile of ash and burned woods and checked things out, looked all over the yard at how clean it is. I hope to spray the poison oak this week while its dry, kill it and fix them another section of land, this time in the complete shade for summer. When I got done outside, Tony had already bathed and I got mine, then we went into town for diet coke and dog food. So dinner was served at 10 pm last night, taco`s was fast and easy. I did not add anything hot or spicy but I did not sleep that well. So how is your day going?
