Lacking The Energy and Enthusiasm To Post

I haven’t been here much the past days. I was busy with work and with going on weekends to my parents’ house.
Then, I will rush back to the city where we live. I felt tired doing them, but I felt satisfied I am doing my share of taking care of my now both bedridden parents and doing my duty of cleaning our bedroom on Sundays.
In addition, this is the month of graduations and have to attend graduation parties too.
Thus, I lacked the energy and enthusiasm to post anymore these past days, so here I am writing this so you won’t wonder why I haven’t been here much as I do before.
When I am here, I comment back on those who commented on my posts. It’s the least that I can do for everyone who visits my post.
What do you do when you lack the enthusiasm to post?

Thank you ANna.
My mother is doing fine. She's responding well to her PT. Though it will take some time for her speech to come back.
My father is not that well anymore. He can't sit well in his wheelchair now. His butt is giving him pain from sliding the last time from his wheelchair. He now eats so little.

@SIMPLYD Yes dear, I agree that, when we are not here we can do only that on our return.
Glad to know about your mother. Hope she will recover fast. Take care of your father and show and love and affection. We have to prepare for anything in life.

It's the least we could do in return for those who commented on our posts, while we were not here.
My mother is recovering from her stroke. She's more responsive now, and can at least jerk her right paralyzed leg. She still cannot speak but she laughs silently at our jokes.
My father is bedridden because of the pain in his butt that resulted from his slipping down from his wheelchair. The doctor said we should just give him the love and care we can give.

Then I don't post a discussion at all. I'm happy just the same reading other's discussions and interacting with them than making my own. Haven't been making lots of discussions for a very long time now. I think max I did was only 5 in a month or maybe 6. I just usually write two or three discussions in a. month, and there were months that I didn't, but I still made it to payout anyways.

I can see that with you.
I feel happy when I post and sees that a lot has commented. So, I miss posting at least once a day or whenever I am here.
But being worn out I just visit the posts of friends and that includes you Toni. i am happy whenever you comment in my post. Makes me feel close to you.

It is really mentally and physically exhausted for you to juggle work with family in which both your parents are bedridden.I understand you, because I have experienced it.

My mother is recovering well. She's responsive to the PTs done.
However, my father has deteriorated. He now, cannot be seated on his wheelchair because his butt hurt a lot from sliding to the floor from his wheelchair, while he was watching TV on the receiving room and everyone is busy at the kitchen. He eats only so little.

@hereandthere No, she still can't speak., The neuro said it will take time. A friend of my younger sister who suffered stroke that my mother recovers faster than her because she can recognize us already. She said it took her a year not knowing anyone at all.
Yes, that's what happened. We took her to the doctor after that but he insists that he be just at home already. Some meds are thru IV.

There are so many things we really have to do @SIMPLYD that the other things ofter must be left behind for a bit. It is a very busy time of year for us and we often just can't get to this site to say hello!

That is so true.
However, in our busyness we also would take time to at least peek in here, to see how our friends are or what are they discussing about.
