Do you want to be famous?

A lot of people dream to be famous for numerous reasons. It can be because of the wealth, recognition, fans, facilities, etc.
Many are even obsessed with celebrities and try to imitate their lifestyles, and, in some cases, they take that to a bad extent.
Personally, I'm not really fond of that celebrity-life, and all that attention, etc.
And you, what's your views on this? Would you like to be well-known? :)

One of my favorite quotes is from Jim Carrey who said; "I wish everyone could be rich and famous, so that they will know it is not the answer."
No I wouldn't want to be rich or famous. I just want enough to live comfortably and peacefully.

I like how fame gives you the power to reach and influence other people.
It's a tool that can be dangerous to handle, it has its downsides, like many other tools.
My biggest fear would be family, it would be hard for my husband or children to be treated "normally", if I were famous. If I could use a fictional name and keep my identity secret, that'd probably be better.
Then yes, I'd like to be well-known.
