Why would anyone attend a discussion that they find offensive or sensitive? I had observed this recently online. Why bother making a statement at all? If you find it offensive, then just pass it by please. Or do you enjoy making a statement otherwise?

People who like to create trouble go there. People who know that there will be trouble and want to witness it go there. People who are too curious for their own good go there. etc etc...

@Courage7 Who knows with people these days? They can go batsh*t crazy at a drop of a hat while others won't even bat an eye no matter how much you try. Sigh!

Some people are way just too sensitive I guess. Well, I am sensitive but, I think one has to be more open-minded.

The wise thing to do would be to just move on if we don't like the topic being discussed. Or, we can state why we don't believe something or agree with a certain point of view. Our choice!

I agree. I do believe that some enjoy arguing and just keep on going. A waste of precious time.

Some people seem to enjoy feeling offended. It gives them a reason to sound off.

People like to complain and yell and some just can't take a joke. Humans have this egotistical system that they always want to be right. So if they see someone with the "wrong" opinion they want to change that person's opinion to their opinion. People are silly.

A good point. I don't get involved in discussions I don't like the look of especially if I can see it's a bit of an emotive topic. Nothing much offends me though.

Some people have to just write something, they have to make sure they show their Azz. I have read and left many discussions because I was not going there..... that is why when I write one and its not very ladylike I announce it at the beginning so people can move on.

Yes Andria, they indeed do show their Azz..they are the most difficult annoyances, even tho I do not usually participate, I cannot help but notice their hostility toward others and want to put them in their place.
