This prop has come to life

We had used a boungainvillea cutting to prop a plant. The prop has taken route and we now have this. There is another white bougainvillea that has similarly come to life and is loaded with flowers. The irony is what we really want to grow does not despite taking all the care.

Some plants will propagate themselves from just about any part of their being.

I am seeing that here. There are a few creepers that are so invasive.

Lately the bougainvilleas are blooming here. They are quite common flowers but they are really beautiful to bloom together.

That color is one of my favorites - for clothes as well.

Purple is my choice as well but only for flowers. I prefer blue and black for clothes.

@allknowing I don't like the color purple for clothes - the color in the picture looks like lilac to me - which is one of my favorite colors.

We call those "volunteers" and I just love when that happens. Yes they do seem to grow better than the plants we fuss over. That one is gorgeous.
