Stormy Weather Monday

After a fairly decent weekend weather-wise overnight and today we are having storms. Rain is torrential at times and it's accompanied by gusts of wind. Not a good day to go anywhere so I'm happy I cancelled my dentist appointment for today and rescheduled it.
It's nice to have this rainy day to catch up on some tv viewing. Last night was the country music awards but we only watched half of it and then switched over to this seasons finale of The Walking Dead (I won't give any spoilers for those who haven't seen it yet).
Today we have the other half of the country music awards to watch and a few other shows on the DVR.
I finished my book yesterday so now today I have to pick another book to read. Since I have so many it's always a difficult decision which one to choose next. Sometimes I think I should just close my eyes and whatever I pick is my next choice.
Tonight is pasta night and I'm looking forward to it. Seems like a good choice on this cold, rainy, nasty day.

It's hilarious how our weather is so similar. My husband went to the gym and so did I, for the first time in years. Different gyms, but now we are in for the day and doing little projects around the house. I definitely will be reading again today.

Today I'm stuck inside my house because it's sleeting out here in Maine. It's been sleeting all day. The roads are too slippery for me to go out.
I was supposed to see my dentist this afternoon. But I cancelled the appointment this morning due to the weather.
I'm glad they let me do that.

Was an interesting one here. We tried doing Uber Eats for the first time and it was OK. Rained quite a bit here later in the evening.

We also had torrential rains and high winds. April showers bring May flowers! Just hope we get a breather from the rain and some sunshine mixed in...

Got up early after sleeping so-so to run few erands, and now catching up here and thinking about lunch. We had pasta and hamburg last night.
