Dragon Boat Rowing Tryout

Hello everyone.
This Sunday, my oldest nephew will try out for the dragon boat rowing team. I am excited for him and I am hoping to be there with my family to watch the try out.
The practice according to the members starts at 4:00AM where they do stretching and calisthenics exercises. The tryout will begin at 5:15AM and my nephew was asked to be there before 5AM. I hope we can make it there also.
My nephew has never been very athletic during his younger years so I was amazed that for the past years, he has been trekking, long distance biking and basketball. He acquire some strains in his knee so he has to be very careful. But I think this rowing will be good for him..
Hope that he will make it.

it's good that he's now physically active, but you're right, sometimes they go overboard and get injured. i hope it doesn't get worse, and i hope he gets accepted

All the best! You'll have to get up very early to get there but it's good to support our relatives.

The try-outs, perhaps, is by the Riverbanks. A few months ago, I passed by the river and asked someone what's going on, and he said there is a rowing competition.
Athletic your nephew is. Hope he gets taken in.

Which team? My teammates are members of two different teams. Manila Dragons and I forgot the other one.
