You should consider what you will use for it, which distance, how many passengers you will normally have and what budget you have. When you know how will you use it, it will be easier to make a decision. Then you need to read some reviews.

All cars are highway ready. It just depends how much you want to spend, your preference, style, and the features/characteristics of each car including safely.

Highway ready as far as putting the vehicle on the freeway and traveling from state to state to state. Not just going to the grocery store, School, work, Hitting the highway and handling the rough Terrain. Features doesn't even make a difference more of less the engine and transmission

@IamRealityy You should include that in your post. If you are traveling state to state, are you planning to purchase a brand new vehicle or used? Does price point matter to you too? And since you want to go in rough Terrain, I don't think BMW or Infiniti would be ideal because they're a luxurious car. Traveling state to state, and adding up a lot of miles for that car will be more maintenance = cost. Unless, cost does not matter. I would look toward Toyota SUV line like the 4Runner.
