Celebrity look-alike.

Please do not view this as some form of vanity. I was just taken aback when my daughter and I were watching Air Force 1 the other day, she exclaimed. "Ma, do you know that that is how you look like?", referring to the actress playing the First Lady's role.
"Really?" It was more of a surprise because my daughter does not comment on my appearance, which is, more often than not, shabby.
"Yes," she said, "same eyes, same jaw, same smile,"
Of course, deep inside, I was flattered, for I did like the actress since I've seen Air Force 1 decades ago.
Well, I googled her name this morning and she is Wendy Crewson. Her images are gorgeous, and I wish I could be as stunning as her.
We are allowed wishful thinking sometimes, are we not? Please indulge me and not say "Only in your dreams."

@mlgen1037 One time, at a mall, a promo girl approached me and said she would like to pluck my eyebrows for free. I was taken aback and replied with a question why would she want to do that. She answered that she would want to arch my brows with the new pencil from her beauty product line. I told her that if she would like to draw brows, I would buy her paper from the bookstore, but please don't turn my face into a canvass.

@eileenleyva Hmmm... that is rude. And plucking takes time. Is she willing to give that extra time to pluck your eyebrows. You will also be forced to buy the new pencil. Marketing strategy.

@eileenleyva I remember 40 years ago when I was in my early 20s, a few people told me that I looked a bit like Victoria Principal .. lol .. But in my dreams, I look like Julia Roberts ..

I agree to the gorgeous thing.
However, I am far from gorgeous. For one, I don't apply make-up, wear shabby shirts, and a little fat round the belly. The same daughter said I look like a chicken.

@Iam_jauntyjen Mine won't go away, too. My family do raise their brows when we go swimming and I dare wear revealing swim suits.

Okay, since I had given that impression, it is now my resolve to make an effort to appear gorgeous. I will commence exercises and aim to get a body beautiful.

Well it is only natural to have a look-a-like, celebrity or not. Even I myself is sometimes being mistaken as the korean singer So Young. Yes it's very flattering knowing that you have a look a like celebrity, and it's not a bad thing to indulge to people's compliment, it's just natural.

Most often, I am mistaken for someone. So yes, I have a twin on every corner of the globe, I think.
