My dad had a heart attack

Last night my dad said he didnt feel good. Rarely does this happen and he said he was going to the hospital. Next thing he said he was bring transferred to the city. He said just finish work and go to bed. Well early morning i get a call he was going into surgery and he had a heart attack. So I didnt know tjis until mid day and was at work. So luckily the manager said he'd cover my shift for me tonight.

if i were your manager, i'd do that, too, so you can see your dad. who else is with him at the hospital? is it a long drive from where you live?

Its about an hour to the hospital. My btother and sister went with me.
