Do you really understand what it means to be there for someone? Sad to say only few knows the real meaning of this.

People tend to give promises when everything is good and gone when things are bad. What is worst is when they make promises in front of many to show off they are good Samaritans. And see their true colors when you are in that difficult situation. How would you react on this kind of people.

@Jessabuma sad to say only few keep their promises. Those people who break their promise, they are defining themselves.

My dear friend, I would rather be there when a friend needs me the most or when things go rough than be there when things are happy or good. I will not make a promise as people does sometimes. I will just be there.

@mlgen1037 Yeah, When family or friend needs us, they don't have to ask our help i am sure we will know in some ways that they need it so better we do something and we offer whatever that can be of help to them.

@chavezrmc Yes, that is more I prefer. Something of a surprise, I guess. Plus I want to be there when they need me.

I understand what it means to be there for someone. But I don't know if they need me unless they ask. I have met a number of people who will say; "call if you need anything", then get angry when you do. I don't ask again when that happens.

@Starmaiden Yes exactly, If they are friends or family i am sure they'll know when they are needed. So i would prefer they would volunteer of something. I am ashamed to ask for help except to those who are very close to me.
