Today's walk home wasn't as long as the last one...

Today I didn't get home until around 7:25 p.m. or so. I worked today from 7:30 a.m. to 4 pm. After work, my boss' Mom took me to a doctor appointment. I waited about an hour past my appointment time for the doctor to come in. My appointment lasted about 15 minutes to half an hour. I remembered to bring my purse this time, so I went to the bus stop right outside the Health Center when my appointment was done to wait for a bus, which didn't take very long. When the bus made one of its main stops at the shopping center where I go, I got off and went to the store to pick up a few things I needed/was out of at home. I had brought two canvas shopping bags with me. When I was done, I caught another bus home, and was the last one on the bus when the driver asked where I wanted to stop. I told him, and when he answered in the form of a question I told him the next stop would be fine. That was about four blocks from home, and on the way walking home I saw all of the places I should have told the driver to stop, but while I had to walk a ways, I was so glad it wasn't as far as I had walked from the Health Center last time. One of the bad things, though, was that I think I left my lunch box on the bus. Oh, well. I'll be brown bagging it I guess until I can get a new one. Right now I have to make my lunch for tomorrow, find something to eat and take it easy for a bit until I get ready for bed ! I hope that you all have had a great day/evening/etc. in your part of myLot land !

Hi Stacey! Oh, how I can totally relate to your post. I also tend to forget things and often, I forget things that I need most - mobile phone, keys, purse, ID - and the list goes on. There was even a time when I placed my meds, my contact lens solution, and my toiletries in a single pouch so I won't forget to bring anything. I am the coach of the soccer team and that time, we were leaving for another town and will be staying there for four days for the unit athletic meet. As other people who know me expect, I forgot that very pouch. It was very inconvenient and I think I did, or at least I hope, learned my lesson and now I check my stuff before I leave home especially when I would be away for days.
