threadingCOMMENTS!

Good afternoon! I am waiting for my favorite afternoon drama television series so I will be out later once the series starts. If anybody among you notice, I have just a few likes and comments in many of my discussions. It is okay for me, so I can comment back as well. One thing I like too with few comments is that I can make a thread out of a single comment. Interaction is so active in that manner. Now, if I have more than 10 comments, maybe I will find it difficult to respond and make a thread, especially if the commenter is a ‘thank you’ user. But I appreciate some users here who respond to comments in their discussions and make threads related to the post. Not just once, but twice, thrice, or four times. Do you like threading comments?

No matter how many comments I receive I always reply to every user who leave a comment. I like the interaction on this site.

@ridingbet Thank you so much Ingrid. I also like to discuss with you, because we have a real discussion, it's not just like some users who only write "thank you for sharing".

i agree with you. and it so nice to interact with you (along with others) because you answer every question i ask, or elaborate further what i think is unclear to me.

Interaction means earning so it is important to interact.

it is, but i think interaction as to gaining more for the bank should be secondary. we actually increase our knowledge in any topic that is discussed here. this is my own opinion

Yes. It means we are speaking as if we are face to face. By the way, are you still watching Blood Sisters? Oh how I hate Agatha. She's a villain to the family. and also that cousin.

indeed, my lady. face to face. yes, i watched blood sisters yesterday. i admire Erich because she portrays all triplets with distinction. i dislike her as the bad Agatha, i sympathize with her as Erika, and i am 'professional' with her as Carrie. the story is getting more complicated but i hope i can sit down and watch it without disturbance. hahaha

I'm not quite sure what you mean, by threading comments. I know that many comments I receive, are short and to the point.

@kobesbuddy yes that is what it would mean. like now, i am responding to your 2nd comment and that means we are creating a thread with our interaction.

what i mean by threading comments is, a comment is responded and then another comment is added. that is why i do prefer to read long comments because it challenges my brain and it adds more to my knowledge.if i want to stop the thread, a like or a smiley will do.

@ridingbet So it's actually carrying on a conversation, between two members.

Yes, most especially if there are exchanges of views and clarifications over something that has been discussed. I like it.

@ridingbet Good afternoon, Ingrid. I am fine now. How about you? Yes, I noticed it and I like it much better because the replies have a more personal touch to it and get to know the person more.

Hi Ingrid! Your name reminds me of The White Oleander character. Anyway, I like threading comments as well. it's like having an actual conversation with other Mylotters. I also love how it paves the way for online friendship especially when Mylotters discover how they have so much in common with each other.

indeed. but threading comments can also lead to more in-depth discussions like pointing out what you believe in and the other user maintains his own belief. i think we should have a healthy interaction here, and not make anybody antagonistic to others or to us. blocking should not be done unless the other user is 'pasaway' and maintains his wrong and erring stand on some issues.

Like Anna, I reply to all of my commenters. Whether I make a thread of it depends entirely on the subject, and whether I have anything further to add.

but i prefer to discuss the topic as it is, and not asking "how was your lunch" when the discussion is about traveling or work-related. i think it is not right to deviate the comment in to another topic.

@ridingbet Of course, the first comment it should be related to the topic so the conversations would keep going and then after it's okay for me deviate a little bit about the topic.
