“Do you TEASE YOURSELF in front of a MIRROR?”

A sudden rush of my imagination when replying one of the discussions of @mohit459 about dancing and @rakski asked where I dance privately. In short, I answered back that I do dance privately. Privately? I dance in the toilet while taking a bath or in my room in front of a mirror. Oh, boy! It wasn’t a secret anymore. Thus, I am teasing myself in front of a mirror and how sexy I am. On some occasions, I just talk to myself in front of a mirror and convincing myself that everything is fine. Good morning, guys! A fresh start for the day. The question is, “Do you tease yourself in front of a mirror?” “Is it a good way to boost your self-confidence by teasing oneself?” Image Credit: cdn.munplanet.com

@Shavkat I thought so. I danced inside the room or when I am alone in the house. I talked to myself in the mirror.

Dancing is also a good exercise, especially if we don't have time to have a brisk walk in the morning. Thus, I just dance all by myself.

No wonder. It suits your name. 'Raks' means dance in some languages.

I think it is fine to look funny. It can release the tension from within.

Why do you avoid it? I am puzzled.

@JudyEv Okay. I got your point. I think we can talk in front of a mirror at least.

@Shavkat I think I look silly when I dance. If I can't see myself, that's okay but I don't want to watch myself in a mirror.

@ridingbet I think I need to do some exercises. I am also gaining weight lately. The culprit is always being in front of my computer.

I make faces at myself. I don't think it boosts my self confidence but it surely keeps me humble.

It refreshes one's feelings. I had seen some love to do a selfie in front of a mirror. I also put myself on the ground.

Yes, I tease myself in the mirror when I have my last glance before going out of the house for work or to go somewhere. I wink and say, "you are looking good!" That is one way of boosting my self-confidence that will keep me going well, the whole day.

I can relate to that. I also do the same thing. We can still love ourselves without being boastful.

Hahaha I think the aging process is normal. I hope you are not considering to have a facial enhancement if wrinkles started to show.

I agree. It is better to talk to ourselves than concealing our feelings about something that affects us.

I broke about six mirrors, along with Snow White's friend, the 'Evil Queen'. Now, I look in the mirror each morning and thank God, because I still have some of my own teeth, glowing back at the world:) Am I vane about my appearance? Heck No, I'm not blind! God has blessed me with perfect vision

I always do. I do it while practicing my smile for taking pictures. I tell myself I am pretty(even if I don't feel like it) while I look for my perfect facial angles. Sounds vain, right? But it works...I think. And yes, I dance in front of the mirror, too!

I think there is no harm in doing it. It shows how we love ourselves. As they said, we don't need to limit or restrain ourselves from believing something.
