Brother's dog died

I just learned from their maid that their dog died today and had to bury her few meters deep. It's hard to believe because she very healthy when I was there a month ago. I couldn't go there because of my gout I can't walk long much these days.
They had two older female dogs who escaped before and came back pregnant. But also they came back with tons of ticks / fleas. And this dog got infested and died.
I figured there are more ticks now because of Summer but so far my dog hasn't experience any of these lately. I hope I can care for this puppy and live..

SAd to hear about this. My dog has been itching a lot but no ticks and fleas. No available Vet in the area. I am hoping that he will be okay soon. Now i am nervous for my dog because of what happened to the dog of your brother.

@Letranknight2015 my dog doesn't go out. but he's itching and.This is the first time he's scratching this much.

Hello @chavezrmc This is why I bathe my dog to make sure he doesn't scratch that much. They usually do that when they're dirty.

Owww that's so sad news. I can't imagine myself when time comes that my doggie have to leave me.. I think this summer is a critical season for our pets, we need to double time in taking care of them..

Hello @shaggin I don't blame them, the maid was busy with a lot of things and they were three dogs. I didn't think the fleas could give this much damage to a dog.

@Letranknight2015 If they are infested it can slowly kill them as it makes them skinnier and skinnier. Flea treatments can get costly.
