There's something about this track and video, don't ask me what it is...
It's not something I'd have gravitated towards, but I find it growing on me - the hypnotic morphing used in the video, the deep bass-baritone voice, the tattoos...
There's no accounting for taste, I s'pose.

I used to love that song @pgntwo
The singer has a good voice but the video puts a new spin on the old tune, much darker than I'd imagined it was in the first place.
Now I'll remember the doomsday like value of this video if I hear that song again.

Sometimes, just let the song wash over you, this is one of them.
Take a listen of this, one from the USA, very expressive, but the video, whilst moody, means what in reference to the song?

The background looks very like an old hospital somewhere - it has atmosphere in spades.
This Band from USA adds depth to a classic, another track that I like:

More of a dirge, you reckon?
Could be.
This one improves on the original, to my mind:

I myself have recently found this song and singer. I love his voice. He is very good and there are a few other of his songs that I like. I had never heard of him before but I am glad that I have found him. I was actually surprised that he is British as I truly thought he was from the South here in the States. He has that blues sound to him. I hope he achieves the fame he deserves.
Another favorite of mine:
Really all that I have listened to have spoke to me. Die Easy, Bitter End, Lay My Body Down just to name a few more.

@pgntwo You're welcome. I am glad that you liked it. There is just something about this man's voice that if I heard someone else sing these songs, I probably wouldn't like them. I love finding new music to listen to.

@morgoodie Good fun, isn't it? And so easy to do with "random play" on many Web-based music and video sites.

I liked that one, like down to earth music and he is pretty soulful. To much fake crap out there and nice to see new music out there based on reality.
