Happy Birthday Son!

Today is the birthday of my son. I am working today and he is biking with his friends and so we will not celebrate it this day. Just tomorrow. A simple coffee and tea drinking with a birthday cake tomorrow afternoon and a dinner with just the 3 of us. My son doesn't like to celebrate it with a party. Not like when he was a child.
Do you celebrate your birthday with a party? I used to many years ago but I have changed my lifestyle since I got older. I am wiser now than before. I celebrate my birthday in just going to the restaurant with my family and friends if they are around.
Anyway, Happy Weekend to all of you. The photo is the orchid hanging on my pomelo tree in my Philippines garden. My cousin sent it to me last night. I have to find out the name of this orchid. Ciao! See you later in your posts.

Happy Birthday to your son! How old is he now?
As far as my birthday celebration is concerned it was never in my hands my wife and son used to celebrate as per their wish and today two more people have joined the group my daughter in law and my nephew who is staying near by my son's place as he is working there! some times they celebrate at my son's place or they take me to restaurant!

Thank you @hereandthere. No, I was not able to bake his birthday cake but hubby bought one. I will post a discussion about our pomelo when i find the photo of it. Better, when I see my pomelo tree again.

Happy Happy Birthday to your son! I'm certain you will have a lovely celebration tomorrow.
I love going out to a favorite restaurant with family to celebrate. A birthday cake is mandatory!

Thank you very much @DianneN. A birthday cake is a must but I didn't bake a cake for my son as I didn't have time as I was working for 2 consecutive days. Anyway, hubby brought my sons favorite German cake and it was delicious. We celebrate it just the 3 of us at home. Very relaxing bonding and we were looking our old photo albums and reminiscing the past. I baked a bacon mozzarella asparagus pizza for our dinner. It was the 1st time that I baked pizza with this combination. We all loved it.

Happy Birthday to him first of all.
I never celebrated my birthday. For my children, we celebrated it they were young. My younger son is turned 11 years on 11 of this month. Just distributed sweets among his class mates and I made a sweet dish at home specially for him.
