Happy Saturday to us all!
I went to the city at 1:45PM. (It was so hard to get transportation in the streets because it was so hot and almost all tricycles were parked at the side of the roads; drivers were resting). Actually, I waited for 30 minutes.
It is a 10-minute ride from our house to the city proper. There were several people inside the clinic. It took me just 3 minutes to get my new specs. I immediately tried it and it felt and looked good. So, in 45 minutes I was home.
I am using it now. My sister likes it. She also said, I look like our mother because our mother had the same style of eyeglasses.
Do you assume a different personality when you wear your eyeglasses, like a scholarly look?

good afternoon, hija. well, i am still adjusting because the lens of my eyes increased. they have different 'grado'. i asked my son to make the fonts of the screen of the desktop at 150%;maybe later, i will put it back to 100%.

@mlgen1037 from 175/150 OD and OS (right eye and left eye), it increased to 225/200 OD and OS

@ridingbet What are the "grado" of your lens, Ingrid? I am sure your eyes will adjust to the new eyeglasses.

right on that. while some think about having the 'brainy' look, others have the idea of looking older than their actual age.

hahaha. yes, sometimes too. i think wearing eyeglasses gives the idea that the wearer is brainy.

i have only 1 pair of bifocals. and i cannot afford to have another pair because i can see near and far now.
