I'd never make it as a Royal

I've been thinking about the up coming Royal wedding next month. If it's televised and I can get away with it, I plan to watch. I'm curious about the wedding dress. I am thinking about making a sudo copy for a teddy bear. With my luck it will be form fitting and if I tried to put it on a teddy bear it would look like a sack of bull dogs fighting. I have been thinking about what goes into becoming a "Lady" that is suitable for becoming a Royal anything. Hey, I just ain't got it. I wouldn't have made it in the social graces classes to start with. I think farts are funny to start with, and will get the giggles over them. I sneeze like a long haul trucker at times. I sneezed one this morning that scared the daylights out of the cat...the sneeze sounded like an elephant trumpeting. I eat with my fingers (hey aren't you supposed to eat fried chicken that way?), I love shopping at thrift shops (I don't need an entroge with me, I prefer hitting the stores alone), and I prefer to pay for my Starbucks (I have my favorite store and they all call me by name it's like going into Cheers!). I also run around bare foot most of the time (I've got Bill doing it too) and prefer flat shoes to high heels (I tried heels ONCE and fell off them. I broke my ankle on that fall and that cured my walking on heels). So my MyLot Friends, I will never be on the cover of any magazines for becoming the bride of any of the Royal Family. Thank goodness, coz I like being plain ole me!

It must be boring except for the money and the attention until the attention later turns too much and threatening for their privacy they try to escape from it.

I just couldn't handle it. I'm the kind of person who has to do for herself and enjoys her time alone. I don't need tons of servants doing for me or the attention or money. I would be handing the money out to the needy hand over fist. I'm much happier being who I am, the gal from the woods who loves her animals (both wild and domesticated), helping others, and doing her artwork. I also love my privacy so don't come knocking at my door expecting to catch up on the local gossip, I don't know any. Oh, and I more than likely would be posting on MyLot anyhow so you wouldn't get my attention anyway. Naner Naner Naner!

@BearArtistLady The Royals have no choice they were born into it, they must had done something terrible in their past life so they are being punished with karma and reborn as Royals, who knows

@louievill You're right, they MUST have done something awful in a past life. I'm thinking of the gal that is marrying Prince Harry in May. She wasn't born into it, but she is marrying into the Royal family. I wouldn't do it for all the tea in China! I just couldn't handle the pressure and all the etiquette and other garbage expected of you when you're part of the Royal family. I think that's part of the reason why Di jumped ship on them. The first "No no" when I tried to eat something with my fingers and I would leave. Just like if I happened to be a royal and my child was playing in the mud I would be in there playing with them (then of course I did ceramics in high school and college...not the pour slip into a mold kind but the form pots on a wheel kind). That would be a huge "NO NO" for a Royal. I'm just the happy little old me who designs and makes teddy bears, wanders around bare foot, and helps out people and animals in need.

You sound just like me. I can be sloppy and I can be neat but mostly I gotta be me and I could not adjust to something like that. I get the horrors thinking of wearing anything that costs more than $20 so no I could not be a royal anything. Let's sing this song.

I am superbly content and happy that my parents were not royal. I would have hated that kind of life to the utmost.
