Treating yourself

When I am feeling a bit low I like to go out and buy a little something just to cheer myself up a bit. It doesn't have to be anything expensive, just a little treat to lift my spirits.
Yesterday I bought a new car! Yes I know that seems very extreme but to be fair my old car is on the way out so I really need another one. It is not a new car and not expensive so I didn't spend a fortune but it really has cheered me up. I'm picking it up tomorrow so I know I will wake up on a high!
Do you treat yourself occasionally to cheer yourself up?

Yes, I do. I have my pamper time and I buy the books I like.

I am excited. My partner is driving me over this morning to get it. Trying to sell my old car but getting a lot of odd people asking about it. We get lots of scammers here when we try to sell a car. I would rather sell it to someone I know really.

Someone drove into it and made a big dent the other day. I am so upset, They didn't stop either, they just drove off. I was parked at home.

@Hannihar Yes I'm still upset about it. My car is parked in a cul de sac where people turn round a lot so I think I'm going to find somewhere else for it to be parked further down the road.

That is so horrible. I hate that they just drive off and do not leave a note. What is sad you have to fix it with your own money and you did not do it. I finally put a note on my attachment telling people to leave my scooter and my attachment alone and put their strollers somewhere else. People are too much.

I like to treat myself and I would normally buy something like a sweet treat or some make up. It's great that you have a new car. I really need a car too as I don't have one right now and I really miss the freedom of being able to drive anywhere I want.

It's a Renault Clio. I would normally go for a smaller treat but I had been looking for a car for some time and this one seemed perfect

@anikoonline Yes I have! It's bigger than my old one (which I'm hoping to sell today) so I was a bit scared driving it home but I shall drive it a little every day to get used to it.

@sprite1950 Have you already driven your new car? I think a Renault Clio is a good choise. As far as I know Renault is a good car brand.

i don't buy myself something expensive because i have to save some for my maintenance medicines. i sometimes treat the 3 of us with dine-out meals, or take-out meals.

I treat myself every now and then, but not on anything too elegant. Mostly clothes or a hair cut and style.
