I cried and cried: watching Forrest Gump.

I checked on what they were showing on TV and found Forrest Gump just starting.
Now there are several movies that make me cry the first time I watch them. But not many are the kind that move me even after I have watched them several times. Forrest Gump is one of them and now I can´t think of any other else. Maybe Casablanca.
Checking online after the end, I read that the film had won 6 academy awards and was selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the United States National Film Registry. Awesome! But there are some films that have won prizes and have not said much to me. This one is absolutely moving. If you haven´t seen it, or if you have not seen it in a long time, it is the moment to do so.

I love Forrest Gump. I have seen it many times and yes, it makes me cry each time I see it. Another movie that makes me cry each time I see it is Titanic.

I probably did not cry when I went to the cinema to watch it. I cry more at moving things when I´m alone at home.

In fact when I watched it, I was a college student. I found it boring. Then few years later I watched it again and I got something from it. Then later I felt touched when I watched it again. So it is a movie that has some deep meanings and you will understand it when you are mature.

Tom Hanks was brilliant in this movie. Another Tom Hanks movie I can watch over and over is The Green Mile. That's a moving story but in a different way.
