Do you back bite?

First of all,let me clarify what is the term, " back bite" means..! According to the dictionary, Back bite is,"malicious talk about someone who is not present".
These days, it has become very common. Back biting is a very common thing everywhere , whether school , college, workplace or even at home..But it's a very bad thing according to me..!!!When people doesn't like other person's growth, they talk bad about those persons in their absence!
Those who talk bad about other people , don't have guts to talk the same in front of them.
Do you back bite? Or do you allow someone to talk bad about others with you?

Not really. I usually try to defense the person that someone tries to back bite.

LOL. Most people who back bite will never openly admit that they do. 
But to answer your question. NO. I don't back bite. WHY would I? WHY should I? It's not a nice thing to do. So if I do it, it only casts a bad reflection on me. It means I like doing things to other people that aren't very nice. Even if nobody else knows I'm that way, I know it! I have to live with me!

If someone is horrible about me and has told someone I respect something nasty about me I tend to try and get some kind of 'revenge' by saying something equally nasty. I hate that people are cruel but I don't want to be the victim who does nothing. I probably should just shrug it off but it is difficult to accept.
