Do you respond to every comment on myLot?

I know that I might not always be connected to myLot when fellow members respond to my posts or tag my name in a comment. I try to make every effort to reply to everyone when I log back on though. I think it's only courteous to do so, and with the payout potential for each comment attracting a response (as I understand it), I think it's only fair. But at the same time I know that one may have so many comments to read, it just might not feasible to respond to every single one. Sometimes I fear I might skip or forget to address someone myself, even with my good intentions. What do you do myLotters? Do you respond to every comment on your post?

I answer those I see. But many times some people answer several days after I posted. Then it is not as easy.

And I've noticed that sometimes all the responses are grouped together with likes and everything. So it can be a lot to go through. If you're away from your system for some time, you might miss some, right?

@AlisaTR Yes. I do not answer with "likes" and nothing else though. For me that is not an answer.

It would be crazy to do that. The moment responding to every single comment became an obligation, the site would lose its appeal for me.

I guess that could be the case when you have a lot of comments coming in. It could get tedious I suppose. And sometimes you might truly not even know someone commented. I only just realized there were a lot of comments under one of my initial posts that I had failed to respond to.

I don't always respond to every comment but if It was good I like it. There aren't always times when a comment is needed.

I do my best to always check my notifications and respond to them then I look through the site for interesting discussions to join.

I don't write everyday and when I do write it's at different times of the day @AlisaTR I usually need a photo to inspire me and most of the time I get inspired after I go through my photos of my pets. I have so many shots of my pets both former and today.

I do the same. Except sometimes, I might try to post something and start a discussion first and before going through the site for other interesting discussions

If your title refers to comments on our own discussions I try to respond to all of them but I don't always do that. If your title refers to all the discussions in existence on mylot that's crazy and not possible to do.

That could happen sometimes. I've been there trying to figure out what I could possibly say in response. If I can't come up with anything, it usually then becomes just a "like"
