Having fun at people's expense! Social media is messing lives

Recently a man decided to play with people's mind and posted on Facebook that he was a doctor from Germany and was looking for a wife. Within an hout, he had more than 900 friend request from both single and married women. What is interesting, the following day he exposed them one by one. Marriages have been broken same as relationships. I keep wondering why someone would do this but I understand there are people who have fun at others expense.

Hardly a nice thing for him to do if he was not being serious. Fun like that might have been fun for him but not for all the others such as the women.

It was not right of him to do that, but at the same time I would never want to be with someone I had never met. So shame on the women who tried to jump on a free ride too.

The problem is that even married women were involved.

Many people think facebook is a dating site. Others use it as a platform for scamming the lonely and desparate.

is this the news item you were referring to?
Have you heard of Robin Johnson? The man who exposed Kenyan ladies’ ‘tamaa’ on Facebook?Well, apparently one man caught Kenyan ladies by surprise on Thursday, April 19

Some people are so miserable that they want others to be in that situation too so they do just that .. And unfortunately there are so many gullible people out there on social media ..

This is not having fun, this is something against the privacy he did and I hope he will be pursued for what he has done.

Most people get away with this and leave many suffering under their irresponsible behaviours

That's terrible. I never friend anyone I don't know, either in real life, or here, as I have friended a few people from myLot now. I've been getting requests from people I don't know. I might look at their profile to see who they are, but I never friend them.

This is pretty low isn't it? Some people have no idea of the havoc they are going to create but I guess others do have a good idea and just don't care.

It was a sad story seeing married women being exposed on social media. It has already caused so much anger and pain to many

What did he do re: 'he exposed them one by one'? He didn't list their names out did he? (Sound bad if that was the case!)

@aureliah sounds a nasty soul there, who decided he had the right to judge and condemn others. Someone told me that there is such a thing as karma.

Social media can be a great tool but there will be those who use it to hurt others because they are hurting themselves.
