Yesterday we really got rain in the afternoon

Hello all for those that it is morning and Thursday morning where you are then I will say good morning. For those where it is still Wednesday I will say good evening to all of you. I know the weather is mentioned here a lot but yesterday was a day to stay in with our weather. The weatherman got it right somewhat. It said sporadic rain yesterday. It was ok when I went out in the morning and then I was sitting in the afternoon at the computer and down it came. It was pouring out there and really pouring. I felt bad for those out in it. We still can have rain and then in May it is suppose to get nice again. We really needed that rain that came down. I hope where ever you were yesterday that you had decent weather.

Our day (Wednesday) was very similar to yours and it also rained all night and it is still raining and will rain all day (Thursday).

It hasn't been hot. Our rainy season here in Jerusalem is in the winter time and winter is not over yet. We have had nice weather and now back to cold and rain again. Maybe it is the ending of the rain to say spring is on its way.

In my area, Haifa, and around, it was hot 24 hours ago, a lot of sun, dry weather, and today ot all broke, there were clouds and winds, a nice change for working. The weather today is cool in my area.
Israel is a small country with many different areas with different weather, and different views. Part of it is a desert, part of it is a sea shore, part of it is mountains...
Dear Hanni, stay safe, and watch yourself, I know this month there will be many events like Day of Nakba, U.S.A embassy in Jerusalem...and some more. The situation can get messy, specially in Jerusalem.

Did you need the rain? We need it because it only rains here in winter. Right now it does not look like a nice day out but that can change.

Jessa, I understand that but when spring and summer come we get the sunny days so I can put up with the rain we get in winter.

Our weather people are sometimes right about the weather these days. It may start out like it could rain and then turn sunny so I do not know what to wear these days.

@Hannihar the rainy season SHOULD start on August but i think our summer might stay longer. our months of typhoons would be in September, but who knows, maybe once in a while, storms come.

Winter time is when we are suppose to get rain. I would think by May it would start to be spring weather like outside and not look like rain again.

Faye, we have all kinds of things here. We have mountains, we have dessert. In winter we have the Golan up North where people ski and in Jerusalem we get cold and rain and at times snow. In Eilat in the South it is warm in winter like Florida and people like to go there. So, we have different climate in different cities and yes we have dessert too. In the summer Tel Aviv is very hot and humid. Jerusalem is suppose to be dry but has gotten more humid throughout the years.

We had rain here as well. It was constant and soaking all day on Wednesday. We also needed it.

So far Marie it is not raining here today. Marie, you never know how the weather will be.
