An outsider

United States

Have you ever gone to a town and felt like you did not belong? It has happened to me twice in my life. Once when I was here in my home state I went to a flea market the next town over and everybody seemed to know everybody. The other place is when I lived in the mid west. I would go to an auction and it seems like the auctioneer had their favorite people to call on. Even when I got to know the auctioneers they still seemed distant.

I have felt that way at certain events or places too. I suppose feeling like an outsider happens to most of us at some times in life.

I understand what you feel ...but then I like that feeling as I get my full freedom and i can behave the way I want without any formal inhibitions @Metsrock69!
