Is Trump finally getting stuff done?

Are we beginning to warm to Trump ever so slightly? He sorted out the Rocket Man and now going after Iran for what is essentially a protection racket deal over nukes, and holding a Frenchman's hand. Who thought Trump would go for a Frenchman? Who thought Macron would make Trump look a chump? I think most of you have seen the photos of both couples on the White House lawn planting that tree and certainly one of the best shots of the year. Taking on China on trade has to be done and trump is doing it. The two countries are too locked together in a fatal spiral to death on finance. China buy most of Americas debt and America spend most of that money on Chinese goods. China flood the market with produce and American jobs are lost because America has to buy that Chinese produce. The steel tariffs have begun stage one in a trade war that had to happen at one point. Obama did not have the stones to do any of these things. Trump just made sense to me.

I'm trying not to get embroiled in political controversies, even though I do have opinions. I don't approve of everything Trump says and does or the way he says it, but I thing he had done a lot of positive things for America. I think his opponent was certainly worse, which is why I didn't vote for her. I don't believe in identity politics. I don't think gender is a reason to vote for someone. Nor is skin color.

@ConVolines I guess she hoped all of them would vote for her, with the possible exception of white men.

Don't be coy, Barb. It's time for the people to speak up. Which of the 65 genders was supposed to vote for Hillary?

Yes, he has since Presidential Inauguration and still is. Well done, USA! You've got yourself a good leader! I don't have to apologize for this observation of mine.

@ConVolines Yeah, we have it quite pretty good here in Australia. Except for, Leftist Bill Shorten's latest political antics. Australians are not very happy.

I second all of that. And as a prisoner of the Banana Republic of Australia, I now identify as an American due to the miraculous Trump phenomenon.

@everwonderwhy I would have agreed with you two years ago. After experiencing the corruption first hand, suffering from it, and learning that my experience and similar experiences are epidemic, I have no faith left in Australian politicians and institutions. None. Bill Shorten should be hung from a lamppost! Have you seen this?

I've loved Trump since he won the election and I saw his speech. If I'd seen him speak earlier, I'd have already been a fan. He's President for a reason. Don't believe that he fell for Macron -- that's just for looks.
Donald Trump gives one of his best speeches in his campaign for the Presidential post 2016. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/berikandemangfald/ #TrumpTheEs...

Finally? Where have you been? He accomplished more than any other president I can think of in the first year. But I found nothing negative in your post, so I am just effectively busting your chops. The NK thing is something that should even have the libs cheering, but you can bet they will find something wrong with it. Libs despise success.
