Got some good news to share

When I checked my facebook this morning I was surprised to see 12 PM's on messenger from my brother. Our mom passed away in 2014 and my younger brother is the executor of her Will. The only thing of value she had to Will her children was her house. She shared this house with her boyfriend who continued to live there after her death. Now he is selling the house. According to my mom's Will, the profit from the sale of her house should be divided between her boyfriend and four children.
I may be coming into a little nest egg soon. Hopefully all goes well with the sale of the property.

He's on good terms with my brothers, but he and I don't hit it off so well.

@Starmaiden Oh, sorry to hear that you and he don't get along so well. But overall, you don't think he will try to cheat anyone out of their fair share cut of the profits from the sale of the house?

@moffittjc No. It is bound by my Mother's Will. My brother is the executor of her estate and is touch with her (and her boyfriend's) lawyer.

It's not that big of a house. Only a one bedroom, but the property its on might be worth a little.

Wish you good luck and good relationship. Dad to hear of your Mother's passed. My Mother passed last year. At healgrief.org lit a candle for her and it helped.

Best of luck! My boyfriend recently got a small inheritance from the sale of his grandmother's estate. It was definitely nice getting that, but his cousin who was the executor of her estate made it a hassle for everyone before he would send out the checks. (He's a weirdo, I guess.) Hopefully the sale of the property goes smoothly for your family.
