Solar Panels Installed, but No Electric Company

We have had 11 solar panels with all the wiring hooked up for weeks now. Have been waiting for the electric company to come by because they are supposed to do something to our electricity box so the solar panels will work. We have had all this beautiful warm sunshine going to waste that could be creating a grip of free energy. Saving us a bunch of money at the same time. To bad the electric company is taking their sweet time getting down here. I think they just do not want our bill prices to go down. I knew all this crap about people need to save energy and get solar panels was a bunch of BS. They were just saying that to sound good so people would continue to hold them in a positive light. That is my conspiracy theory for the day, anyway. While I am joking, would be nice to have it all hooked up and not let this sunshine get all sucked up by Brooklyn's fur. She has been sun bathing so much her fur went from brown to black. I make bad jokes.

Me too. a dollar saved is a dollar earned. That's is pretty much how they expect people to survive these times anyway. Mcdonald's has a whole booklet how people can afford to live of their crappy wages. Well, they used to, might not anymore because think people mocked it.

@jstory07 Yep, and that is what Mcdonalds was telling their employees but meanwhile we are supposed to hate socialism. Does not really add up if that is the way its going to be. Can't have it both ways.

@crossbones27 People can live off their crappy wages if they get food stamps, help with their public service bill and Medicaid. Otherwise NO,

Yes, it's a delaying tactic. Call them again and again until they got exhausted.

I am sure that is what is going to end up happening. Thanks for the encouragement.

We have considered solar panels, but seen how much they cost, the installation, the insurance (against hail) and the electrician we should live at least 30 more years before we have an advantage. We keep our normal electricity.

Could you hire a private electrician to hook it up for you? Obviously the power company doesnt want to lose your business.

They will still have our business, it will just cut down the price and they are always saying we use more energy than the houses around us. They will eventually be here soon or my sister will give them an ear full and make them get here.
