My kids are enjoying at new place.

We have shifted to a new place and frankly I am not enjoying as I had been living at that place for 42 years and I was very much attached to it . On the contrary my kids are enjoying here as they have lots of things to do here. There is big balcony here where they most of the time hang on and watch who is passing by in the street. There is a big park near by and they don't forget to visit it daily. I trying hard to forget my old house and enjoy here. I know it will take time for me to settle here and there is no other option left for me. Pic is of my kids

I can understand you miss your old place, 42 years is a very long time. When we moved from France I was also sad, we stayed in the same apartment 30 years.

It can be very difficult to come to terms with living in a new house. I hope you come to love the new place as much as your kids do. Have they had to change schools?

No they haven't changed the school. It's now nearby their school.

I feel kids always like new place. They are fit for a new environment easily than adults. Hope you will like your new place soon.

I can understand your feeling. But sometimes changing environment is also a good thing. You will adjust to it and soon like it much more.
