Oscar and Felix would approve of this Odd Couple episode. Two dogs, Blue Dozer, a 6-year old Staffordshire Terrier, and his buddy, OJ, a 12-year old Dachshund have found a new home. The two dogs were placed in an animal care center when their previous owners became homeless, and could not care for the pooches any longer. The dogs are very close! OJ is almost blind and relies on Blue Dozer to guide him around spaces and keep him safe. The shelter's director knew these two pals were going to have to be a package deal if they were to be adopted. After posting about the dogs on Facebook an adopter came through and gave the pets a home. The shelter employees were ecstatic over the news. A grateful director was so pleased these sweet dogs wound up with a happy ending. Source: People/msn.com Photo- Richmond Animal Care & Control

You are so right Sherry. The dogs are very close and even sleep together. So, breaking them up would of been very sad indeed.

@dgobucks226 DB, what is great about it is that they were placed in the same home together so can watch out over each other. I am so happy to hear they got adopted.

Yes Hanni, such great news. I was worried about the disabled dog. The dogs have been together and close for 4 years. Nice ending!

Very nice sentiment dragon! It so nice when to hear a good news story for a change. And kudos to the terrific person who cared enough to adopt both dogs.

Yes nice ending! The one dog who is almost blind would have literally been lost without the other one.
