Hey, everyone and, I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. I am here with another fun new series. Jobs I have done, these are not in order just 15 jobs I have done, some were good, others I hated, picking strawberries was one of the ones I did like most times and, definitely miss now that I don't get too do it anymore, at least I can still relive it, with you here. I remember it, like it was yesterday, especially Grandpa waking us up at 5 am and, saying you're burning daylight or time to roll out lol. We would all get out of school, for summer break early the end of May I think. So, we could pick berries, for Grandma and, Grandpa, or my Mom to sell at the berry stand and, also earn some money for ourselves, usually 20 dollars a day or so more or less, we also had a lot of fun just laughing and, joking out in the field and, eating strawberries of course, we usually picked a variety called shuckstons, they were the best and, also sometimes Totums, they were big, but not as sweet. Those were good days though. I miss those times, then after a hot day we would go swimming down at the creek. Did you ever pick strawberries?

I did pick strawberries. My mom and I would pick them and my mom would make the jam. The last time I picked strawberries I couldn't move for a week afterwards! A job like that works every muscle in your body. Some you never knew you had!

We don't have berries in our place. What we did before as a kid every school break in May is to go with my mother to harvest rice in the farm.

We used to go and pick our own many years ago. As for a job, when younger, I pulled weeds in a work program and that was not fun at all!

Nope, I haven't tried it. Strawberries farms are very far from our place we have to take 10 hours trip.

What a delightful memory. I picked strawberries and raspberries when I was a kid. I admit it! I did a horrible job cause I was too slow. Those berry boxes just kept staring at me. It was so hot....

I am eating strawberries now while reading this. We bought them for only 5,000 won. Usually they cost 10$ in the grocery store.
