Take the floor

I am on a very exciting expedition. Somewhat of a safari. I am looking for the perfect species of...linoleum floors. I know, I know, you are thinking Felicia, but why? Also, your father is a tile setter! He would have your head for this! It is a risk I am willing to take. But seriously, I am looking at different designs of linoleum flooring, not for my own home, I honestly hate linoleum. It was very satisfying as a young lass assisting my father with free child labor to scrap up the linoleum off the floor so he could then sand down the crowns in the floor and then set some tile that is much prettier. Not to mention...I'm a klutz, when linoleum or vinyl get even a drop of moisture, I slip, i fall, and my floor doesn't need a crater in it. But I am looking at flooring for the background I am creating and it will be a very important part of my graphic novel. I want something elegant, but also something that would fit in a classroom. So if you have any ideas, even real life ideas for flooring, please, share! I am lost in the deep web of flooring!

I wish I could get your dad's advice on my tile. I am sure you can find some pricey and elegant vinyl or linoleum.
