It has almost been a year that I have had eye trouble

It took a long time to see the opthamolgist, when I did he gave me several creams, and a pill. Took it for a long time and didn't do a thing for me, saw no improvement. Went back, saw another specialist and he told me not to use the creams, take another pill , and see if it helps. No improvement and I go back in October.. since the first visit, I have a lump on my eyelid, that wasn't there before. I think I will always look odd, with this eye problem, and another frustration. Does it look that bad to you? Yes, my skin is red, the pill for my eye, will treat the redness. The condition is called Meibomitis, unspecified laterality.. at first the called it bleparhitis.

The upper lump on your eye doesn't look good it got bigger so I think you need to have another checkup. My ex-bf has a lump also on his eyebrow the doctor said that he needs to take an operation because it can cause cancer.

I don't know if this could cause cancer or not they saw it looked at it, but acted like it was normal.

I would go and try and see a Specialist for that kind of problem. I am not sure what it is but it reminds my of a stye which are really painful I know I did have one or two being very small as I had to have a lot of eye ointments for treatment for an eye. Mine cleared but maybe inside there is something blocked that is not obvious from the outside. I know there are special eye Doctors for that but I donĀ“t know what you call them sorry.

I think we all get little things wrong with us as we grow older. Is your eye painful? Do they know what is causing it? The picture you have up is closeup so I'm sure it doesn't look as bad to others from a distance.

You'd better go to a big hospital and have a good cheak up. I think doctors in the big hospital are always better. Hope you can recover soon.

They have you taking pills and using creams....does that mean they know what they are treating, or is it a guessing game and they are playing trial and error with your eye.

The creams were to try and get it down, it was a pain putting the cream in my eye, several times a day. I think it is trial and error, I don't think they know how to treat it. When I first developed this condition, I had to go to ER, and they gave me eye drops told me it was an infection, make an appt. with the doctor. She looked at it said not an infection, looks like blepharitis, says it doesn't go away but had to refer me to the eye doctor. So far, itis not getting any better.

You still have that problem!? OMG! Hope something works soon. My mom doesn't have a lump, but she has a little extra skin for her right eyelid. Doctors she has seen says there's nothing she can do about it. Thankfully it doesn't hurt or anything. just extra skin.

Sorry about your eye. I don't know the medical terms but here locally we cure that with mango leaves. I had a bump once. Treated it with mango leaves.
