With Springtime comes gardens. I have had success in my yard with a number of plants, shrubs, flowers and trees over the years. There are so many attractive ones to choose among. Some of my favorite plants have been azaleas, rhodedenrums, and holly. I have a row of evergreens which create a natural border fence for my property. My Cherry and Cleveland Pair trees will be in bloom by April thru May with it's beautiful colored flowers. And my front garden will be filled with many different types of flowers among them marigolds, geraniums, buttercups, pansies and impatiens. How about your garden and yard? What kinds do you plant and grow in your part of the country? What are your favorites? P.S.- I'm shooting for a garden variety like the one in the photo, I WISH! Photo-pinterest.com

I don't have a lot of flowers or shrubs, but I have a plum tree that is blooming right now; also a sand cherry is blooming. I have service berry bushes but they're young and I'm not sure if they're going to make it. The picture you show is really pretty, but for myself, I prefer a more natural look. I will have a small vegetable garden this year and be happy with that.

I have 3 plum trees in my yard. Great flowers now and they started as saplings. Oh, I bet that sand cherry is gorgeous! The vegetable garden sounds nice. It will be time to start one myself. I usually plant tomatoes, green beans, squash, pumpkin, and peppers. How about you?

@dgobucks226 I am going to plant a great variety of beans, first because my daughter gave me an assortmen of seeds she had won plus the ones I have and also because I love to grow beans. I like to eat them, but I like to grow them even better. Then I plan on tomatoes, winter squash and summer squash. I will have sweet peppers in containers, but no room for pumpkins. I used to really enjoy growing them. I have radishes and lettuce already growing, along with the perennials and odds and ends. Rhubarb, peppermint, horseradish and the wild things I let grow for food. That sounds like more than a little garden, doesn't it! But the area is small and broken up.

I also like azaleas, we have a holly tree in the garden. I plant tulips, roses, hyacinths, crocuses, marigolds, pansies, gladioli, carnations. I am not a fan of geraniums.

Tulips are such beautiful flowers they look almost fake they appear so perfect. I just lost my rose bush after many years of enjoying them. I also have many hydrangeas around my yard. Love their color.

The photo is really beautiful. I hope you can have a garden like this one day. I don't have a yard so I don't have a garden. What a pity!

I don't plant a garden, but there should be flowers showing themselves soon at the complex where I live.

Yes it is! That would be a sight to visit Here is a place in my town called Silver Lake. The photo is of the Gazebo. There is also a flower bed which spells out the name of the town. Very scenic!

Oh well, if you get the urge there are many places one can see them. Perhaps a park. Or road trip along the highway to places unknown.
