Favourite travel destination

One of my favourite things to do is travelling and learning about new culture and meeting people from around the world. Of all the countries I've visited, the country that left me wanting more is Italy. Many moons ago I was an au pair in Ferrara, Italy and fell desperately in love with the people, the culture, the food, the architecture, the fashion etc. I can't wait to one day go back there and see it with fresh new eyes. But of course, there's the small matter of money :( Do you like travelling? Where have you been that stole your heart and why?

Do you really like Ferrara? The husband of my cousin is from this city, I am Italian. I hate that area of Italy because of the mosquitoes.

Yes, I like to travel. For now, I am enjoying the beauty that my country offers. But I would definitely want to travel the world.

I haven't travelled yet to any place outside my country , the Philipiines . Though, someday i will visit the coujtries where some of my friends and fellow townmates live. My country alone has lots od beautiful places and have visited somw of them already. For sure you would love the Philippines too, should you decide to also visit it.

Oh, I'd love to visit the Philippines someday. I have a friend from there and she's shown me many pictures. And it's full of such beautiful people as well :)

Italy? who will beat that! but of course this is one of the most expensive tourist destinations. Travelling? yes I really love travelling.

I used to love travelling. I did a lot when I was in my youth. That sounds a beautiful place. My favorite was Lake Tahoe in Nevada USA

I love France too and find Paris just so enchanting :) I stayed in Strasbourg for 3 months while I was at university and absolutely loved it.

I was never really a fan of England but then I went to visit a friend and stayed for a further 13 years LOL It's got a certain charm about it and I'm proud to call it my second home :) Glad you loved it as well.

When I was younger I enjoyed traveling. But it was mostly within the United States and it was with my husband and our kids. I'm not so much interested in travel anymore. I can watch documentaries on TV like Rick Steve's Europe or listen to others tell me their travel experiences. That will have to suffice.

I enjoy traveling Ann's enjoyed Hawaii the most. But my mom paid for that trip. I don't have much money either to travel a lot. I doubt I'll ever make it to Europe, but I'm taking my first cruise this Feb to Mexico door two days.

i would say for me it is two places. Bangkok Thailand (I lived there) and Dublin Ireland (I have visited there) both are the highest on my travel list!
