Things have been blooming here for the last week, but really popped after the showers we’ve recently had. Even the bumblebees have been buzzing! This is what I love about Spring! I can’t wait for May. Is anything popping in your yard?

Lovely flowers, love the color. I have some blue flowers blooming, buds are on all the trees, the tulips should be here soon and May means lilacs everywhere. Here are the blue ones.

Thank you. You may be behind us up where you are. Our daffodils, small bluish purple flowers, and forsythia began blooming three weeks ago. My bleeding hearts are beginning to bloom. I just love spring!

I'm limited in certain flowers being deer food. I don't know what a chinaberry tree looks like. Photos?

And NYC has been in full bloom two weeks before us! New Haven had weeping cherry trees in full bloom, and a few miles home to our street, they are only just budding. Crazy!

@DianneN I have them close to the house and 5 noisy dogs. That lets me keep my tulips. We have one deer that visits and does not run when I talk to her. But she will only come so close to the dogs.
