Cute cat by the lake

I went for a long walk by the lake today and an odd thing I saw was somebody's cat (I presume it's somebody's because it had a collar) walking around the lake "hunting" ducks and other birds. The kitty was very friendly and came up to me and allowed me to pet it. It was odd that it was wandering around the lake since there are no homes or properties nearby so somehow it came very far. I'm hoping it isn't lost but it looked relaxed and it was just playing around running after birds.

Hopefully he was not dropped off. I had one with a collar on one time that someone dumped.

I hope he hadn't just been dumped. It's good he had a collar as that probably means he belongs to someone who cares about him.
