I Used To Like Birds!

I went out onto the front porch a few minutes ago just to take a break from everything that I have done so far today. I had just finished sweeping out the shed that stores bikes, and snowblowers and lawn mowers. How dirty can it get?? ... REALLY DIRTY. I'm exhausted from sweeping out of thousands of flies that seem to just come back to life the minute you sweep them up. But it was the porch that I started to talk about on this post. I had just washed the bird droppings from the railings again... and there were a lot! So, here's my question... doesn't anyone know of a way to keep them from landing on your porch and well... kind of doing their business on there?? I'm really getting tired of washing it off! I want to get back to liking them again lol!

String fishing line up there. It keeps them from landing and they'll find somewhere else to perch.

I hope someone can come up with a good idea. I don't know of any way to deter them - except get a cat!

OH I wish I knew how but we don't have a porch. I hope you'll find a way for the birds not to make your porch as their toilet.

Place a bird feeders and a birds bath far from the porch, they will go there.
