Certainly will have some myLot catching up to do!
I am in Shrewsbury, having planned a little cycling loop to visit an industrial historic site. Of course, the weather for Wednesday is rain, but with a bit of luck the forecasters will be slightly off.
Still, make hay while you can. This evening I popped out for a meal and enjoyed an excellent, slow pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord bitter at a very nice pub called The Three Fishes, suitably enough on Fish St.
Early night, tonight, for tomorrow's big pedal.
Unfortunately my tablet doesn't seem to be compatible with myLot, so I can't add a photo from the Three Fishes.

Yay another cyclist in mylot. Glad to bump into you. Yesterday I was at a cycling race to support my team. They won!
Hope you are going to have a great Wednesday!

We are a growing band! I am more of leisure cyclist and take my time on the pedals, also being very nosey, I like to stop and look at things.
This trip to Shrewsbury was quite as successful as your race and I am planning to undertake it again, after the summer

Thank you for the kind thoughts. I got very rained on and then a puncture, it was then I found out that I'd lost my took and repair kit. Just to end the perfect trip I then got a gum infection which took forever to clear. Now planning a return trip - just don't learn!

We have stayed in a fancy hotel in Shrewsbury. I think it was called the Black Prince as he had stayed there. An acquaintance booked the room for us but we were horrified at the price. I remember the floor levels went up and down all over the place. No doubt you checked out the historic bridge too.
