Hair Cut This Morning

Hair Cut,

I had a haircut this morning and it was torture for me every minute. I do not feel very strong these days and having pain all over does not make for a comfortable moment at the hairdresser. I had to muster all my strength and courage to get out of the house and go directly there. Very happy that it is over for a while now. Do you dread going to the hairstylist or do you see it as pampering yourself?

Necessary pampering. I love going to my stylist. She does a great job with my hair. I'm sorry it's torture for you.

Glad that you enjoy the pampering of a haircut. I have a lot of pain in my neck and it does make it difficult to go thorough this. (torture for me)

@marlina I'm sure the neck pain would be torture to get your hair cut.

I trim my hair myself when it starts to get longer than I want.

So sorry that you are in so much pain. I don't care to get my hair cut but I certainly need one right now. My mother-in-law used to go weekly to get hers styled and the occasional cut but she has had bad health lately and has cut back her ventures out to once a month now.

@marlina I sometimes wonder if the ladies go for the hair do's or if they go for the gossip?

@Shellyann36 , Sometimes it does look like the ladies are going for their "much needed" gossip.

I hate to go to the hairstylist, I hate this so much that I cut my hair myself since 1999.

@Aquitaine24 In the beginning it was hard, it took a lot of time and I was not fully satisfied of the result. Now I have so much the habit and I like my cut, more than what my hairstylist used to do.

I dread going to the hairdresser, mainly because I fear what I would end up looking like....sometimes the cut does not go the way as expected, and with this face, not a lot of haircuts look great

i only go to the salon for haircut as i do hair treatment at home. I dread going to the salon because I have several experiences where I was not satisfied with my haircut.

I love to pamper myself like most of us do but in harsh situations even pampering is annoying

Funny, I was thinking of having my hair re-style too, it is getting a bit too long and making me look like a Lhasa Apso dog, cute but hilarious! (I am still thinking, should I do it or not... )

First of all, I'm SO sorry you're not feeling well these days. As for the hairdresser...I can't remember the last time I went. I color my hair myself and I cut it myself. Back when I used to go, I loved it, although they always cut my hair too short, so generally I would go to get color or highlights and tell them not to touch the length.

I used to have a haircut every month and I dread every time. Barbers usually laugh when they see I have an alopecia/bald spot exactly at the center of my head.

That is not very nice that the barbers laugh at your problem. Not very good manners.
