They Say that One can Die of a Broken Heart
I hope you're not feeling this way, Courage. If you (or someone you know) are, try to keep your perspective. How you feel today does not have to be indicative of how you will feel in the future. Things can get better. Even if you can only make baby-steps at times, and only surviving well and looking after yourself at others. Just keep moving forward. Re-consider the relationship if you are still in it. Talk to someone who you can trust and feel comfortable talking to, whether that be a friend, family, or a professional, such as a counselor, to help you work through things and make the right decisions.
@Courage7 Yes, terrible, and the worst thing to lose sight of is your perspective, as in feeling as though all hope is lost. It's just a horrible period, which will pass if you move in that direction. It might take time to work it out, but you/they will. It will also be especially difficult while the person causing the problems is still around and not getting better.
