Albert Pujols Might Get 3000 Hits Tonight

Albert Pujols is already 0 for 1, but Angels scored 5 times in first, so maybe he will get a lot of at bats tonight. He is just 2 hits shy of 3000. A baseball milestone that only legends accomplish. Albert is on the downside of his career. Most of his damage was done when he played for the Cardinals. Poor Angels over paid for him, as he really only had one good year and one decent year with the Angels. The rest have been pretty sub par compared to what he did In St. Louis. That being said, Mr Pujols has always been a class act and his first 10 years in baseball were absolutely amazing. He helped the Cardinals win 2 world series. Hope he gets it tonight, but probably will go 0 for 6 because I wrote this.

Awesome, At least I did not jinx him. lol I was so mad when he left St. Louis, but looks pretty smart on the Cardinals part because they could not afford that salary being a small market team.

@crossbones27 He had three more chances to get #3000 but it's wait until Seattle.

@JohnRoberts Well plunked on one, but Seattle is a great city for him to do it, I do not think Angel fans even respect him the way they should, but most fans do not. I mean 3000 hits and 600 home runs, will be the for the fourth person since 1875 or something like that to accomplish that and Babe Ruth and Hank Aaron were two of them, who is the third. Oh that is right Willy Mays. Seattle is classy city and think they would give him the respect he deserves.
