Spring has (finally) sprung!

Today is the quintessential spring day! After record cold and snowy days and then a few hot and humid summer days, today is the true breath of fresh air! Temps are mild and there's a sweet breeze blowing. It has brought out the best in everyone around me!
I spent the morning at the grocery store where I found the most delicious coffee yogurt! In fact, the cashier (male) commented that he really wanted to take his break and go grab one because it sounded so good.
I was surprised because, for a Saturday, my ride brought me to the store only a few minutes before my appointed time and picked me up promptly! That's not heard of on weekends! Both of my drivers were exceptionally happy and chatty, and that made for fun rides.
Since I've been home, I've put the food away, put on some great music (Oldies) and got in my exercise for the day. Today I did as my physical therapist had suggested. I took a couple of aspirin before heading out to the grocery store and because they took the edge off my knee pain, I've been able to walk more and do a few more exercises. Now I'm being a good girl and resting my body so I don't overdo it, as I've done too many times in the past!

I did not realize there as such thing as coffee yogurt! How do you like the flavor; does it have a different consistency? I do have a question? Does grocery shopping make you feel better, like does it ease stress for you? I hope you have a nice day!

My coffee yogurt is supposed to be Greek yogurt, but it seems to have the same consistency as regular yogurt. But it's delicious! No idea if it has caffeine in it, but I would assume so. As for the grocery shopping, my physical therapist told me that all the walking I do in the grocery store is exercise and to think of it in that way. Ever since he told me that, I enjoy my time shopping even more! I make sure to walk down aisles even if I have no inclination to buy anything there. And yes, it definitely relieves stress for me! Those lilacs are beautiful! I'm glad you had a good day. It's awesome when things turn out better than we expect. My day today was like that - better than I expected. I'm glad you did as the therapist suggested and it worked to your benefit all the way around.
I'm relaxing at the moment, as all the walking I did today is playing havoc with my back.

. For us, we went from mild to hot recently - in a snap. I want to do more, but we have had enough on our plate this week . . . so I am glad to not be running off somewhere . . . yes, best to not overdo whenever possible
