Very Productive Day...Today

Had a productive day...today. I guess I did not put in the right search words, when I was looking for party suppliers in Jacksonville. I just came up with only one national one, and they were poorly stocked. So...it was limiting me on what I could do. Last night I decided to change one word in my search. I replaced "supplies" with "stores" and found a mom and pop shop in the Baymeadows area. Sadly... They closed their biggest store that was near the beaches, last year; because the landlord increased their prices so high, they could not come up with a figure both parties would be happy with... It was my understanding that it was their biggest "money maker." I think eventually...they are going to try to open another one in the area (not sure when)...because they did so much business down there. Here is the cool part for me. These folks carry items that the other supplier is always out of... They also carry some items that the other supplier discontinued. Plus...carry a few items I used to get at the mega warehouse in Houston...and yet a few more that no one but them carry. You should have seen me beaming all day today. I was one "happy camper"! Downside... My phone camera was dead, so I could not take pics. I spent about 3 hours writing a lot of info down, so I could retrieve pics later. As with most mom and pop shops, their websites aren't very helpful. However... I calculated being able to add approximately 3 to 4 dozen new themes, that I would have otherwise not been able to do, had I not found this shop. It will be a while before I can add everything, because of my limits on eBay. But it encourages me, that I can eventually grow my party section of the store, bigger than I thought I was going to be able to... Maybe one day...I might be able to purchase stuff from Houston, and have it shipped to me...but that is down the road a ways. Another cool thing happened. While I was driving home...I remembered a website that I linked my old eBay store to, years ago. I thought I was going to have to use the Wayback Machine to retrieve it. But low and behold...I was able to still log into my account...and there they were... All my pics from my old eBay store. All 3,500 (hundred) of them. LOL Oh man... It is going to take me a while to download all these pics. I have already downloaded 300 hundred of them, and have only 3,200 (hundred) more to go! LOL But at least I have them. I thought they were gone forever. So now I have pics for a lot of the discontinued stuff, and if I find anymore products, I won't have to search the Internet for them. Yep! Today was a VERY productive day for me! Yay!
